Made it to the First RAAM Time Station: Borrego Springs

It’s only the first time station and it’s only 88 miles in, but in that 88 miles Brett has already put away 8,878 feet of climbing. Despite all of that, this time station is only 623 feet above sea level. That all equals out to one hell of a lot of slow climbs and crazy fast drops down what some riders call “the glass elevator.” And Brett did all of that in temperatures reaching upwards of 113 degrees Fahrenheit! Needless to say Brett is exhausted, but powering through with the promises of cooler temperatures into the night.
