THE ROUTE
We’ll cross over 3,000 miles, 12 states, and 3 mountain ranges. Going from sea level to 10,000 feet and back down again. And we’re aiming to get it done in under 12 days.

The Race Across America is from Oceanside, CA to Annapolis, MD. Typically less than two-thirds of competitors finish.
who
You can’t tackle the Race Across America alone. Brett is joined by ten friends, giving up two weeks of their time to crew two support vehicles and keep Brett fed, hydrated, motivated, and basically just moving no matter what. A team of veterans and civilians, all amateurs with no professional cycling. Together, they’ll attempt to travel an average of 250 miles per day at about 15 mph.

why
For us, it’s personal. Our rider is a veteran. Half our crew are veterans or veteran family members. We’re raising funds for Team Red, White & Blue - a non-profit dedicated to enriching Veterans’ lives and creating a national community centered around health and wellness.
Racing across the country might sound insanely difficult, but it’s nothing compared to some of the challenges our veterans face when it comes to re-establishing a physically and mentally healthy lifestyle.
